went to camp today had a blast but i made the mistake of taking two girl that didnt really wanna be there but it worked out all right.
loved watchinf buelher booming kicks 2-8 yds deep in the endzone. crayton and RW played a little trick on me crayton was wearing a number 4 jersey inside out and my first thought was "oh we must have filled that roster spot with a WR and they didnt have a jersey for him so they gave #4 and to not confuse the fans they made him wear it inside out cause RW has been wearing it....man he's short." lol then i didnt think anything of #11 not being on the field cause he sprained his wrist but then i saw #84 make a catch and noticed he was wearing spandex...then it finally clicked.
i guess CC lit a fire in brown cause he had 2 deflections in the endzone and an INT. and i didnt see him get beat deep. hurd caught everything, austin seemed like he dropped about 33% but some of that was QB play...seemed like every type of slant pattern was thrown behind.i guess in the limited role i saw stanback he looked solid but nothing special but thats just me and just today.
i want 53 guys like witten...on one play he caught a pass at LB depth and right as he caught it somebody hit him+stripped the ball, witten turned like he was gonna go back to the huddle then stopped...turned like he was gonna hit the guy... then just gave him the look of death. a little while later he made a catch and ran up the sideline and got hit out at about the 5,they were in shorts, and witten got pissed and shoved him away and drilled the guy with the ball...he was ready to fight if the guy bowed up but just walked away. i really like that kind of fire in practice, just wish i coulda seen what woulda happened if the were full contact.
jones didnt look as lost fielding punts as people have said...maybe i caught him on a good day. carp had a legit INT and a great run back, looked like an asset in nickle...dont know about that being worth a first though...but its progress.
been with family all day so havent read the camp report yet but i saw jenk and TNew but no scandrik. anyway 5 in the morning now and thats all my brain can remember after a day full of drinking but ill get some pics up here soon if i can figure out how to do it lol. duece :starspin
