Not confirmed yet. He may have just been held out as a precautionary measure. The coaches are probably going to be a bit more liberal with giving him extra rest here & there being that he hasn't played in over a year. I think they're handling him perfectly.

yup... rather have him for most of the season than none of the season... if he has to sit... sit...

These days everyone seems to think you have to go for the kill shot in order to be physically intimidating. What I love is that McClain shows that you can still make them "feel you on Monday morning" if you wrap up.

he not only wrapped up...he slung him down like a rag doll..

if that was at the astrodome or texas stadium on that concrete surface in the old days...that receiver would be hurting as we speak.

he looked dazed as it was..

ro mac playing with us makes me giddy...we've been needing his type for years.

McClain has the ability to generate violence in 1 step. It reminds me of the early years with Roy Williams were he could just uncoil in 1 or 2 steps and destroy people.

Someone should show the tackle he did against Gore in the Niners game. Gore is a tough runner but I've never seen him get hit like that and got up a bit whoozy from it.
