I am not trying to single you out. I just think all these jabs about our new DC are inappropriate. If he's like me, he found this site because it is one of the most popular sites for fans of the Cowboys to discuss their team. Maybe he is curious what fans think of his hire, and he clicks on this site. Reading these comments, I don't think he would feel these comments represent support. Would it make him feel less enthusiastic about his job? Maybe not, but just the same I'd like to think as fans of this team we would err on the side of caution and hold off on these types of barbs. He hasn't done anything to deserve them. Hell I didn't care about the Wade comments because I wanted him out of here. With Rob, I'd like to make him feel welcome and not the butt of jokes.

You have, but it's cool. Judging from his well-known public demeanor, I'm practically certain that Rob Ryan and I both share the exact same impression of your opinion--that is, if he were to or later shall have read any of this particular thread of course.

Rob's beer gut and lack of fashion sense are a stark contrast to what we're accustomed to around here.

While the Ryans are braggarts and a loudmouths, I don't think even they have the stones to compare themselves to Tom Landry after being been fired for fielding maybe the disappointing and underachieving team in the history of a franchise.
