Besides the worst offseason remark, everything else they said was spot on. They were responding to what was clearly an escapee.

The offseason certainly wasn't one of the worst. It was a typical hole filling offseason with the addition of Pickens and the draft. It could be a great offseason if the drafted players turn out to be really good.
