Game on the line...which of these RTs would you rather have?

They got cute and traded out even though both starting OTs had a whole lot of wear and tear on them and both collapsed in the 2007 playoff game.
Colombo imploded in the Metro-dome and the pretty much done Adams got hurt, and Dallas whistled in the sun after that game, concerning RT. They declared Colombo was fully healthy and excused his poor play. Their answer was Alex Barron. I don't know why I ever had any hope in him.
Not drafting Loadholt is haunting the Cowboys.
What if Loadholt was able to play Ray Edwards?
What if Loadholt was playing RT last night?
It is hind-sight, but I"m not the guy getting paid to make these calls.
What if Dallas would have turned in that draft card with Phil Loadholt's name on it?

The question is do we have the guts to make the move if Colombo is done.

Loadholt isn't as good as you think and i've probably seen a lot more of him than you have.
He's been a nice player since he has gotten to Minny but I would never start the guy at Left Tackle.
Use Your Illusion;3553789 said:What have you seen that makes you think Young could ever be a "franchise RT" ? I mean, he had a decent preseason and camp, but it was nothing more than decent. A good start for a late-round pick, but I don't really see where you're getting the 'He could be a 10-year starter' thought process from.

At no point has the game looked to big for the guy and the physical ability is there.
Not to mention he was the #1 Offensive Tackle in the Nation coming out of highschool. He always had the talent and it looks like Dallas has fixed his #1 problem which were his feet.
His feet stay moving now.
He needs an offseason to get a little stronger but the guy has played Right Tackle his entire life and it's just his calling in life to play that position.
He is a prototype Right Tackle.

Look @ how on a lot of these plays he makes solid contact and just stops and never moves his feet. He doesn't do that anymore.
Use Your Illusion;3553857 said:He has some skills, I'm not denying that, but the guy is not very athletic and has no lateral quickness and struggles against speed rushers. Now, that'd be more of an issue if we were trying to play him at LT, obviously, but that's still not the ideal tackle I want starting for me. He seems like a solid blue collar guy who could have a decent career in the league, but nothing about him screams franchise RT to me. He's a guy who you should be looking to upgrade if you can.
