Rob Rang? I talked to him the other day on Fox Sports. He said that he did not believe for a second that BP would take Long. He was conviced it would be Gholston or Ryan, and it may end up being Gholston. The point I was trying to make to him was that if BP can't trade down, then it's about safe with him. He won't cripple his team financially by risking too much on that first pick, which is why he won't take a QB IMO. I told him that Miami only has 7 OLs signed right now and that they need Tackles in the worst way. I tried to tell him that they have Roth and Taylor, who could play OLB so they are not forced to take Gholston. Nice player, for sure, but they don't have to take Gholston. Told him that BP loves smart tough players who don't make mistakes and Long was that for sure. He said, nope, BP never takes OLs high. I tried to tell him that this was not true. That BP had in fact drafted Bill Roberts, Eric Moore and Randy Thomas in the first round but he cut me off and went on to say that Parcells doesn't draft OLs high but instead, develops them with low picks.
OK.
