Also my early useless mock draft

1. D. Bowe/ D. Jarrett/ T. Ginn

There are other guys in the first round that I like. I am high on Revis and Houston at the CB position but not so much on Ross. I also would be intrigued by Branch is fhe fell. Although for this mock, two of the three above should be there at 22. I would take and be fine with any of them.

2. Lemar Woodley/Eric Weddle/ Tanard Jackson

Woodley has been a guy who I have targeted at this spot for the past few weeks. It wouldn't surprise me to see him off the board in the second round when we pick. Regardless, he could immediately be a rush specialist in the 3-4 while he learns the linebacker position. I like everything I read about Weddle and Jackson. Both are guys I want on my team. One of these three should be there in the second round and I would be happy with any of them.

3. Zak Deossie--- A lot of people have already talked about him already but like Weddle I like a guy who can do a lot of things on the football field.

4. A. Barbre- A guy the Cowboys have shown some interest in and a guy who is also flexible in his skills. He is a rising prospect and he might be off the board when our fourth round comes around.

5. Tarrell Brown- Character concerns are definately worrisome. Brown had a down senior year but he is a guy who has some legitimate upside. You are gambling on his character but some team will take a chance on him in the fifth round or earlier.

After this I am going to stop. I will say, I love taking guys who are undersized, slow, without a true pro position who were studs in the college game in the late rounds. Guys like the small Arkansas linebacker, or Quinn Pittock or Derek Landri from ND are all some examples who lack the true measurables but were productive in colllege. I would look for those type of players in the late rounds. They may prove to be just good college football players, but at the same time some of these guys prove they can find a way to make a roster and contribute.

D. Bowe, LaMarr Woodley, Zak DeOssie <----------- Now that would be a very nice draft.

Yes, it would. Very nice indeed, but do you guys think DeOssie's going that early? I've had him pegged as an early fourth guy.

Hard to say. I don't think many had Jason Hatcher pegged as a mid-3rd, but I think it was a great pick. Once you get past the first two rounds I think the variation on value gets pretty fuzzy.

True. Good call on Hatcher.

To be Honest, if we got any combination of Bowe, Revis, Meachem, Spencer, Woodley, Houston, or Ginn in the first two rounds...I wouldn't care where we took a guy like DeOssie. I don't care that he played Ivy League...he was a monster...too much production to ignore.
