I'm bored, I miss the Cowboys and the Steelers are making me sick. All former coaches who he has worked with and players he has coached.

Coaches:
Bryan Cox DL/LB Coach
Jerome Henderson DB Coach
Sam Clancy DL Coach
Don "Wink" Martindale
Keith Malard DL Coach
Chuck Pagano DB Coach
Jeff Davidson OL Coach
Pepper Johnson DL Coach
Eric Mangini DB Coach
Josh McDaniels Def Assistant

FA PLAYERS:
Nnadmi Asomugha CB
Eric Wright CB
Sabby Piscitelli FS
Lawyer Milloy S
D’Qwell Jackson ILB
Chris Gocong OLB
Matt Roth OLB
Kirk Morrison ILB
Mike Vrabel ILB
Thomas Howard OLB
Kamerion Wimbley OLB
Robaire Smith DE
Richard Seymour DT/DE

Decided against offensive players because I'm sure he could care less.:

Anyone you like, just for the sake of discussion?

Thanks...........this is great information. Most likely many coaching interviews and players that we look at signing will come from this list.

Mangini isn't going to be demoted from head coach to position coach underneath his former defensive coordinator, if anything it would be the other way around and personally i would prefer Mangini over Ryan.

Shaun Rogers is a FA too. :D

But off your list, Asomugha and Seymour stick out like a sore thumb. Hands down the best guys and also play position(s) that Cowboys obviously need upgrading.

Also Roman Phifer as LB coach. Coached under Ryan for 3 years in New England and was Wink Mardindale's LB coach in Denver.

The pirate had some good things to say about Phifer recently.

I like Wimbly at OLB.

Rob Ryan didn't. He traded Wimbley a season after arriving in Cleveland. The former #1 pick was a huge underachiever, never generating more than 6 sacks a season.

If you want a player that matches Robs attitude, OLB Matt Roth. This defense needs attitude. Roth brings that.

Ware, Spencer, Butler, and Roth is a nice pass rush set.

If fans are unhappy with Spencer we sure in the hell should not support bringing Roth in. I can just hear the complaints now.

I'm not suggesting he start like Spencer...although he could if people get hurt. Im just saying we need his attitude and mentally. This defense needs it.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in as a rotational player depending on what the front office thinks of Butler.

Does Vrabel have anything left?

He would be a good one to get if so.

Mangini may have to sit a year because there are only a few DC positions still out there.

As far as the coaches would love Cox, Martindale and Henderson. The players I think ould do well here or Thomas Howard, Kirk Morrison and Eric Wright

I wouldn't count on Eric Wright. He had off the field issues, and Dallas traded down with Cleveland, so Cleveland could pick him. Dallas passed on him once already with a need at CB.

you won't hear any complaints from me because i had never heard of roth until he was mentioned here.

He had one "off the field issue" that he was never even found guilty of. Never had charges brought against him even.

I'd take:

Asomugha CB
Wright S
Roth OLB

What a nice trade down that was!

I really liked Kalil at the time ...
