An gotcha. Thanks for the heads up. I guess supporting the Cowboys is a bad thing in these parts.
Supporting the same old from Jerry Jones is bad in these parts. And you should feel bad for doing so.

I didn't think Ryan was great but agree with Rosenthal that he outcoached Garrett. I'm not sure why he got a free pass.

Didn't Garrett also torpedo Wade after his offense failed under him?The guy is Judas.

Pls correct me if Im wrong... But the season that Wades got fired was when Romo was injured, right? The one where Kitna played the last games of the season.

Trust me, Garrett sucks and I can't stand the man as an OC, but to say Rob Ryan outcoached Garrett and it's "not even close" is just a stupid statement. Ryan wasn't that good either and it's amazing to see how many people on this forum are upset on his firing. The guy is completely overrated and the only reason he was hyped up to be a defensive guru was because he stopped Brady and Brees one time.

The newest rage is to call anyone who has even a glimmer of optimism a "Jerry fan". It's reactionary and based in fiction, but it's their go-to move.

Calling people who are satisfied with the status quo "Jerry Fans" is the dagger of truth that is cutting you in the butt. :D

True. But not too much time, please. Im wishing for two years more, at best.

Agreed that is a fair amount of time. See you can be rational and still not like Garrett. Let that be a lesson to everyone.

He is clearly changing this team and is building. If it doesn't work then it's on him but you have to give any first time head coach more than 2 years.

Me or windward aren't "cut". You are the one it bothers so much. Not us.

And hey genius the status quo changed with Rob being fired. So get with the program and quit whining just to whine.

It's an ad hominem attack that is an invalid form of argument.

Im not too bummed about Rob being fired. BUT, the offensive coordinator better get canned too or 8-8 says Hey,its me again.

Again, the firing wouldn't have bothered me at all except for the fact that he did outcoach Garrett as an OC. Not saying he was good, just did a better job with what he had than JG.

It's like talking to Jonestown true believers.

Dude, just stop. We get it you don't like Jerry Jones and you're accusing everyone who doesn't hate him like you do "Jerry fans". What the hell kind of logic is that?

Just put him on ignore like I just did. It helps.

Agreed.

I don't get it. It was his unit decimated by injuries. If injuries are a viable reason for losing, Ryan should've been protected more than anyone.

I'll be honest. I'm bothered by this move.

Did you seriously think Garrett was going to take any of the blame for back to back .500 seasons?

Apparently Rob Ryan and Skip Pete were the reasons we were .500 the last 2 seasons. I mean, they are the ones getting the pink slips.

Anyone who actually watched the games this year could see the offense was the problem

So we fire the DC who had half of his starters out for most of the year.

Smart thinking.

How many people are thrown under so Jason can learn on the job?

I am at a split with this firing.

I like Ryan, but, he didn't really change anything. He some players to work with. Not enough.

Course , if they hire a 4-3 defensive mind. I will be less comfortably numb about it all.

I was going to come in here and whine. But, you know what.

Let the changes commence..

Nice job Jones. Keep em coming.

I'll stop, because you asked. Not because of the people mad at those that don't support Mr. Jones decision.

If you did that to start with instead of getting butthurt about Jones criticism it would have saved you much grief
