Pretty interesting...

"That was me trying to get cute with them and double 83 (Vincent Jackson) on a call that should have a safety on 81 (Randy McMichael, who scored the TD). So that's completely my fault."

Now is he saying that McMichael was left uncovered on purpose due to the double-team on Jackson? Or that a safety should have been on McMichael, yet it was somehow his own fault (AKA taking the fall for whichever safety screwed up)?

No, he meant that he had a LB(Spencer) on him instead of a safety.

I don't think so because Spencer completely released him. It was probably a blown coverage on SPencer. I think overall our linebackers looked really bad tonight. The Chargers tight ends and backs killed us and we just couldn't get off the field.

Anybody know what their 3rd down conversion rate was?

You mean they looked bad other than holding SD's running game to 2.5 YPC in their first three drives with their starters in? That kind of bad?

Nope, never mentioned that kinda bad, I mentioned the kinda bad where we could not contain tight ends and backs on passing plays. I could look up the stats and show you my kinda bad but I'm sure you have it right in front of you.

If you are implying that we were good on defense tonight let me know what game you were watching because Jason Garrett and Rob Ryan were not happy.

They were 1-for-3 with Rivers in, 2-for-4 with Volek in and 2-for-4 with Tolzien in. They were 5-for-11 overall. We were 8-for-12.

Somewhere between Spencer (if that's who got the early re-routing shove on the guy was), Sensy and Ball there was a mental error.

Thanks Adam...to be honest not as bad as it "felt" watching.

Oh, there were bad spots no doubt. I was trying to give ya a little something to feel good about, in my usual sarcastic fashion.
