The CBA ends after 2020I'm beginning to think the Cowboys' idea of a long term deal these days is a year and a half.
Yes, we would.Looks like a good trade.
If we don't resign him then we get a compensatory pick after this season I believe.
Give them the 3rd round Comp we will get for losing DLawC'mon it's Stephen. I'm thinking a 5th, tops. Or a swap of some sort like our 5th and receive MIA's 6th.
This speaks more about Taco than anything. I'm really starting to hate that pick - I didn't even like it in the first place though.
A first for a situational guy who isn't even in on a lot of passing downs. What a awful pick - thanks Rod.
Very nervous about trade details. This GM once gave up a 4th and 7th for OJ Santiago

As I mentioned in an earlier post and was mocked for, Quinn may be the replacement for Lawrence. At the very least, his acquisition does two things: 1) He gives the Cowboys an established pass rusher and 2) He gives the Cowboys more leverage in the Lawrence negotiation.
Quinn Covington Collins Hyder
How do you run a functioning offense against that?
Wait. What did we give up? I may have COWBOYS!'d prematurely.

Now trade Lawrence.
Lol.... put the 7 at Quinn and go down from there!Sacks next year
Quinn 12
Taco 11
Hyder 8
Armstrong 7
I think we save 5m for a 2020 5th ..... that is a good tradeYeah that's where I'm at right now.
Cowboys make an offer. The Dolphins don't bite. The Saints get in the mix and schedule a visit. The Cowboys blink and up their offer. Trade completed.
Two years in a row without a 1st round pick is going to be rough.
