Robert Quinn quote

Wait.....what? Did you not read the article or do you struggle to read graphs?

Cox had three more pressures than Tank while playing in about 78 more snaps. That's the whole point of the graph. Besides Donald, Tank has the most pressures per snap - by quite a bit.
Apparently the struggle continues,I reckon, as I'd merely
( glancing from the left to the right) pinpointed the highlighted #90's placement thereof & verified thru the ascending grid scale of who proved out superior in Q.B. pressures, all of about 4 seconds of dedicated devotion was expended,,,as the factoring in of "games played per" were not properly entailed within the cursory perusal of the allotted time span ,,,my bad,Bro& humbly accept this humiliation of a town square thrashing, thusly duly administered,,,o_O

I get it, man. Sorry for coming down. Been one of those days. Needed to see some good news. Hoping to see that Tank had signed. At very least, wanted to just read some good information about Tank's new QB sacking buddy, but the thread just turned into a bashing Tank thread.

Man Alive! I want that Cat signed& ready to roll as much or more than you, ya-know?:starspin:

Huh? You are kidding me, right?

Why are there so many Cowboys fans doing mental gymnastics to try to prove that their defensive leader is not good???

"Huh"

Eloquent.

What I said was absolutely correct. Pressures aren't sacks. They're better than nothing, but they're less than hits, and they're less than sacks, and on *those* numbers, DLaw was no better than Gregory in their last 14 games.

That's kind of where I am. There are just so many posts trashing one of our best players who gives it all snap to snap and plays through injury without complaint, and produces as one of the best in the league.

Would I rather Dallas not have to pay him $23 million per year? Sure. I'd rather the Cowboys be able to pay him a million. However, I'm not going to get mad that he's seeking to get paid as much as he can. I just hope that the two sides can find common ground, because the one thing I do know is the likelihood is we will have a better team and defense with Lawrence on it than off it.

Yeah, I agree. You won’t see me trashing Lawrence. Dude is a really good player and a leader on defense... and has some dog in him that the team needs.

I just want him signed and ready ready to go by week one. I’ll let the negotiating be done by the team and his agent.

he did a interview with a Lindsey Draper and she asked him a question on what he wants to do this yr. the guy had a answer that players should learn. He said “ we all have standards as professionals, and I like to keep mine to myself”. Love that answer. This guy is gonna be a leader for this team. Maybe the pass rusher on the other side should take notes on how to handle the media.
I would have preferred Quinn actually answer the question. People want to know what he's thinking and what he expects from himself this upcoming season as a new member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Thanks for being the forum's anointer.

Lol its funny how a quote and a post can rile up some of you.

Quinn is just a mature professional who just seems down to earth and not phased by reporters putting a mic in his face. Cooper is another guy just like this. Its just refreshing to see players leave media with nothing to report. I just wish Lawrence and his representation aswell as the Cowboys FO would use this philosophy. Silence would actually give this team alot more headlines and coverage

Its funny that somehow my first post was a indictment against Lawrence to some. hahahaha some of you just cant hande the offseason

Finally someone gets it.

The coaches absolutely love DLaw. He's a team leader. He's accountable. He out works everyone. He's one hell of a run defender as well as an excellent pass rusher.

But yeah, let's trade him for a 2nd.

No way should this team trade him for anything other then a high 1st. But shouldnt give into his demands. He said he wanted 20mil per yr and the Cowboys felt good about that and tried to get that doneat the combine, and then all of the sudden his demands went up. Thats what caused this. And i think that trey flowers deal is what sparked it from his agent.

In this situation Canter is burning a bridge he shouldnt and he's taking Lawrence down with him. Cowboys are a powerful organization and his future clients might be affected and could end up changing agents because of it if they were to want to join the Cowboys. Ed Werder found this out years ago when he was banned from reporting inside valley ranch after starting the whole Owens vs Romo thing.

The aspect that nobody is talking about in this whole situation is this. The longer this plays out and if it goes into may and june this will affect the team. Affect the coaches because they dont know if and when he will be available, and the players because it affects continuity. As a leader lawrence needs to not let that happen. As an organization this team cant let that happen. Especially when they have made moves to try and get that title. If this gets to July Lawrence will be out 10 games of the 2019 season.

Uh, no. It says that Cox has like 3 more pressures in 75 more snaps lol. What the chart shows is that Lawrence is a more effective pass rusher than all but 3-4 players in the league.

We've known this for some time: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...rboard-pass-block-win-rate-pass-rush-win-rate

A for effort though.
:lmao:COPY!,,, and as you well know any disparaging disgruntled fan fired flak damage that can be lobbed over the wire into his A.O. in the attemptted hopes of facilitating his signing at a reasoned compensation ,,,or,,, expediting he's merry master sacker A** on down the road works for me, as he aint all he thinks he is, in fact, didn't you seemingly notice his game kinda' downshifted a notch during that first Commanders game last season & he didn't seem to elevate his game back to the level for the rest of the season,,, ya bro my fandom don't have it's Swinging Hinge's mounted on the threshold of #90

a nice signing and complementary player off the edge and in the locker room.

I lay you odds Quinn will be team captain and leader on D and Cobb on the offense will turn into a leader..or vet voice for the young guys.
