This is a terrible picture taken in the dark with my Blackberry, but...

I was taking a boat load of kids to McDonald's (my kids and their friends) near my house last night and we happen to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree on it's way to New York City.

It was stopped at the roadside McDonalds (I figure waiting for traffic to die down).

Anyway, terrible picture, but a cool site to see. This is actually the second time I've see it stopped here. (different years) I'm guessing this McDonalds is the *official* rest stop of this tree each year while they wait for traffic.

As you can see, it's bigger than the semi carrying it! :laugh2:

Thats a police car behind it. It had it's lights flashing though you can't see that in the pic.

That's one thing I miss about NY for sure. I used to meet my BFF in the city every year and we'd go see the tree and all the store windows. Nothing like it in the world.

You should be a photographer for a living. :D

lol. I was sitting in my car at the drive through window and my wife was half in the way (setting in the passenger seat), the window was up, it was dark, kind of a light fog out, AND I used my crappy blackberry phone!

I did the best I could! :laugh2:

I would have gotten closer, but I told you. That car in the back of it was a police car with his lights on and wouldn't let anyone near the truck.
