Surprised he was able to get in the door being as big as his ego is, he has a good voice otherwise don't care for the guy at allI was at the Springfield Civic Center the night Sebastian Bach threw the beer bottle and messed up that poor girl's face. I've hated him ever since.
My choice for the Greatest Rock guitar riff of all time is . . .
"Heartbreaker" by Jimmy Page - Led Zeppelin II
Envy. I'm going to guess you have a couple more solar circles than I do. I was too young to see Randy on my own and my mother was not in tune with the Rock and Roll universe so she wasn't going to take me.Saw the ultimate sin tour at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Arena, opener was Metallica who got booed and rightly so because they sounded bad. Anyway yeah definitely put that album up there with my favorites from Ozzy. Also saw Randy on the Diary of a Madman tour about 5 weeks before the accident, magnificent player very fluid almost like a violinist
Agree, but like a lot of artist. I may dislike them as human beings, but damnit. They were talented as ....Surprised he was able to get in the door being as big as his ego is, he has a good voice otherwise don't care for the guy at all
That’s a great one! Mine would be Kashmir. My choice for the Greatest Rock guitar riff of all time is . . .

I found it ironic that that documentary featured one of the greatest guitarists in rock history along with two guitarists that are not worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as Jimmy Page. The Edge is a one track pony with his delay pedal trick and Jack White is anything but a great guitarist. Both the Edge and JW have written some great songs, which is hugely important, but they lack the musicianship of the great Jimmy Page. The music Doc It Might get loud
Jimmy Page
Jack White
Edge from U2
Good stuff if you like guitar stuff from those artists.
61 years old, wasn't allowed to go to concerts until 79 when I was 15 years old. Missed out on some great shows here but made up for it when I got going. First three concerts were Van Halen in 79, kiss and 79 and Rush on the permanent waves tourEnvy. I'm going to guess you have a couple more solar circles than I do. He was one of the all time best. Died too young.Prince was one helluva musician.
ZZ Tops Just got paid was the first on my list earlier. You know, I've seen a ZZ Top song or two, but there should be at least 20+ of them on here starting with
Another one I haven't seen yet is Skynyrd, Sweet Home Alabama
- Waitin' for the Bus!
- Sharp Dressed Man
- Gimme All Your Lovin'
- Tush
- Legs
- Cheap Sunglasses
How can we forget the great Guns and Roses to boot. Heck, Appetite for Destruction alone was a master class in riffage.
- Mr. Brownstone
- Nighttrain
- Paradise City
Not to mention that VH also had one of the best backup vocals of all time in Michael AnthonyActually, his brother Malcolm was the riff machine. He wrote most of the iconic AC/DC riffs. Angus wrote the leads. Either way, that entire group was touched by angles. They like Van Halen had two iconic singers to boot.
My buddy and I always discuss how very similar Eddie / Alex where to Dime and Vinny. It's a shame that Pantera only had a single iconic singer. If they had. Freakin' wow.
Lay it Down has an incredible riff.Lay it Down by Ratt
Anything from Jake E Lee with Ozzy or after with Badlands.
