Rod coaching up Florida Gators

Gotcha. I was being very sarcastic there. I think Crawford is terrible. Nothing can be done about that one. Still perplexed by the decision to make him a DE. Guy is a straight line rusher with zero speed or flexibility. Gets stood up by tackles consistently. Happy Easter.
I know..I was too lol...I knew what ya meant.

who besides Sapp? I don't have Simeon Rice in the hall. definately not Spires, or Booger McFarland. No one on that Bears line comes close and Harris never lived up to rhe hype until Marinate got there.
He might not have made it yet but simeon rice has been in hall of fame discussions. After watching this team with monte kiffin and rod marinelli just shows you how much talent they had on that bucs defense. Potential 5 hall of famers on 1 defense. Any one of us here could have coached that bunch.

I don't agree with that line of thinking. Great coaches, coach great players. Every coach passes their prime like players yet they still have knowledge to pass down. Great players still need to be coached and taught something to help them reach their full potential. I believe that Rod should get out like Gibbs and Shannehan, others but having great players is no knock on him.

How can you say Rod is a great coach when he hasn't had an impact anywhere else in the league after he coached the bucs.

He had some pretty dang good defenses at the end of the 2000s with the Bears. Urlacher and Briggs were one of the scariest LB tandems I've seen, and Peanut Tillman was a turnover machine.

Come to think of it, Lee/Hitch almost had an Urlacher/Briggs flavor to it. Not to say they are on the same talent level, but they were both very, very active run-and-chase LB combos.

Ok so he adopted 2 more hall of famers. Some time talent makes the coach and sometimes coaching creates the talent. I can confidently say it's more likely the first one.

He looks just like the stoner kid that delivered me a pizza the other night.

that's all I heard too. Havent really seen him much. But have heard he's a powerful guy..quick twitch tackle...and compact in his movements. I would think he's available at pick 50 in round 2. I wouldn't dare reach for him at 19.
You probably can’t find 1 draft reference that has him close to 50. He’s a top 30 player in almost any big board

I like Bryan. As one draftnik said - he rushes in there with no idea what he's doing, and he's still beating people. He's the kind of player that a guy like Marinelli could take a long ways.

I'd be fine with him at #19. No, we don't need another 3 tech, but ask the Eagles if you can have too many good pass rushers.
Not that I disagree with you, but I loved the fact that Bennett showed up.
When your trying to stockpile, sometimes you get ahead of yourself...
buyer beware.
