He took the worst Dallas Defense I have ever seen, lost D. Ware, J. Hatcher, and S Lee,
and turned this D into one that has grounded the high flying Eagles, and shut down gun slinging A. Luck.

This also was without much help in the draft as DLaw did not play the first 10 games.
Did get a nice FA pick up in R. McClain.
I have been less than impressed with Melton.

Hope Coach Rod wins the award, he deserves it !

The defense is still ranked in the bottom third. He probably won't win it. But I think he's done a good job, considering the talent.

Maybe I got the team wrong but I thought that is what they said. Whomever it was they said he had to deal with a lot of injuries and the team still won.

Well, Arizona did deal with a lot of injuries at QB, and they did win some of those games (though they had some embarrassing losses), but the wins were because of the defense, not the offense.

Maybe a Specials Teams Coach of the year award ?
Anyway , the job coach Rod has done with this group is nothing short of amazing !
