On the nfl network. He stated that Romo does not have "IT" factor and that he cannot make plays in crunch time like Dilfer.

Wow, he really does not like TR. This guy goes out of his way to put down the Cowboys. Dilfer?? This guy won the Super Bowl only because of the defense and the lame Giant team.

I understand if you dont think Tony is no good, but back it up with good facts!

I can't say I'm surprised. Woodson is an A-1 idiot and Cowboy hater. He's not that great at what he does. He'd better be glad he's an ex-jock because otherwise he never would've sniffed the studio.

If you quit watching these people yap about the Cowboys, you might find that you have significantly less things to complain about.

Romo's rating this season in the fourth quarter with the game within seven points is 122.5. And that doesn't even count what he did in the fourth quarter against Baltimore -- throwing for 180 yards and two touchdowns to pull us within two points two different times.

Making plays in crunch time has never been Romo's problem.

Woodson has no credibility when it comes to the Cowboys. His bias stands out every time he comments on something related to Dallas. he probably still hasn't gotten over the SB loss in 1995. A lot of Steelers were major sore losers on that one, claiming they won the second half and the the better team didn't win in the end. Sad that he hasn't gotten over it to this day.

Dilfer IS AN EXCELLENT analysis guy. Him and Jaworski are the next generation of brilliant "dissectors" and "breakdown" guys, for sure.
So, there must be something about NOBODY'S WHEN THEY PLAYED that makes the genius's. See "Chris Collingsworth" for affirmation.
That said, Dilfer's promise and potential coming out of college no where NEAR came close to his pro-career.
For all my complaining about Romo, Woodson is dead-wrong. I've got my problems with Romo. But, compare him to Brady or Manning or Favre if you want to diss him. Not Dilfer....................

Yeah, and so does Brad Johnson. And Namath. And Eli Manning. And a couple guys for the Commanders who were "one and done".
One ring does not a Hall of Famer make. Nor does it make said "one and doner" someone to be compared to. BTW, Favre has as many rings as Doug Williams, Trent Dilfer, Kurt Warner, Eli Manning, Ken Stabler, Joe Namath, Brad Johnson, Joe Theisman, That idiot from Chicago in '85, and Payton Manning.
Roger has two. Aikman has Three! Argument over.

Woodson has no credibility period! I've always thought he was a blowhard.

Basically

rofl @ Dukes always calling him out on his Boys haterism based on SB 30 and him always saying "I didnt play in that game" to try to cover up his haterism.

Dilfer has a ring. :hammer:
He also had arguably the most dominant defense ever. I suppose he, Jim Mcmahon, and Brad Johnson should go into the HOF and Marino, Jim Kelly, and Moon should be taken out.

Trent Dilfer probably wasn't as bad as many NFL fans have come to think of him, but he was definitely average to below average in my book.

Tony Romo has not yet proven that he is what many Cowboys fans want to proclaim him to be. And I will continue to say that people need to throw away their baseball stat approach to analyzing him. Fact is, winning is the goal. He can have a 122 QB rating all he wants, he needs to cut down on turnovers and start leading this team to big game wins, and even some that they AREN'T supposed to win.

Tony has done a great job of that in the regular season to this point. I hope he does it in the playoffs. Either way we are better off than a TON of other NFL teams, and I'm hoping for him to take those next steps and take the Cowboys with him.

Finally, anyone who would say that Romo isn't in Dilfer's class would normally be without football sense. But since Woodson played, and obviously knows the game, I will chalk it up to his extreme anti-Cowboys bias.
