Rodgers out?

Packers have announced that Rodgers if officially OUT
 
If Matt Flynn lights us up, every defensive coach should be fired on the spot. He is easily the worst QB I've seen take NFL snaps this season.

If we eek out the next 2, then we just have to hope Nick Foles goes South for the winter or we somehow get Vick.

Because all the other scrub QB's the Cowboys have played have been lights out...oh wait. And before you throw McCown in there, let's not insult everyone's (or at least, some of us) intelligence and pretend he's been playing like a backup against anybody.

Hes a backup.

Ponder played ok against us and so did the kid in oakland.

McGloin made great throws and had some good catches. He didn't have guys running wide open. Just because guys are backups does not mean they aren't capable of making great throws. McGloin got shut down in the 2nd half. Ponder played okay...did he look like Joe Montana? That's what you said, not that Flynn would play okay, but look like Joe Montana. Last I checked, okay does not come anywhere close to one of the best all time. The hyperbole is ridiculously stupid this week.

It was a figure of speech sir.

Point is any qb is liable to do well against our D as has been proven time and again this season. This defense is on pace to be the worst in the history of the league. Let that sink in.
 
does it really matter? we cant get to the QB,any one can go through his progressions calmly and find the wide open WR.

I think you underestimate how BAD the Cowboys defense really is.

And the Packers have the 5th rated offense in the league.

The point is, they may do better than against most defenses, but that doesn't mean they will do "well" or anywhere close to great. The implication is the defense can't stop any QB, but the truth is, when not facing great QBs, they have done well for the most part.
 
The defense will be better after that embarrassment Monday nite and being at home will help. I think we win this game

have they? Mcgloin,mcCown are journemen and they had career days against us.

McGloin did not have a career day. He made some great throws and had great catches, but he was completely shut down, and if not for a last minute garbage drive would have had about 200 yards. McCown had a great game, and he's been playing very well all year. And, I said, for the most part. Alex Smith, Sam Bradford, RGIII, Foles, Eli the 2nd time (first time too, if you offset the yards with INTs). Ponder played decent, McGloin played well for a half (he just made good plays, it wasn't bad D), and then McCown.

Wake up. this is the wost defense in the history of the NFL. they are flat out pitiful. so stop, just stop.
 
Just to be clear, I think our defense is historically terrible.

But when discussing McClown, you have to look at who he is now and not what he was in the past.
Trestman is a QB guru and some thing has clicked for this guy.
He is for sure playing like an NFL starter...and better than 75% of or more of them. Better than guys like Joe Flacco or matt Ryan. And at least last week, certainly ebtter than Romo.

McCown did not been just doing this vs Dallas.

His stats so far:
13 TDs
1 INT
109.9 QB rating (3rd in the league)

He has been playing lights out.
