who cares how good the nfl is at handling suspensions for domestic abusers.
They're a sports league. It's a game. The nfl frankly is doing a good thing by handing out some form of penalty for these guys for when the authorities aren't able to for whatever reasons.

They have no reason to actively coverup domestic abuse. They just wanna keep playing football.

It is a shame that the league (or any league) has to work with these types of people. Sure, the league does welcome them in, but at the same time if they don't there's bound to be lawsuits involved.

But the league always has a reason to coverup stuff like this. It looks terrible for their image and you have billions at stake from advertisers. Especially in today's climate where people are extremely sensitive to stuff like this.

Me thinks if that happened with the 70's Cowboys and Randy White saw it, it would be an end to Brown's behavior and the NFL wouldn't have to step in.

I mean there's like 4,000 players floating around the league at any given time. There's gonna be bad people in that large a sampling.

A kicker abusing his wife doesn't even make the news. Nothing he does would affect their image.

It is stupid how Goodell catches so much hell over this stuff.

It's not his fault such a high percentage of players had terrible upbringings, and are borderline felons.

Like rules and consequences ever meant anything to these derelicts anyway.
