Rogers, Petermen, Thorton, Burnett, Spears, Berri-o....

And of course, Julius.

Could be worse...how about Cleveland and Winslow! Ouch!

Thing to remember - all of these guys except Peterman had injury histories in college that they went on to re-injure in the pros. You can add Al Johnson to this list as well.

Correct. He had a tough time with the academics but the important thing is that he rectified the situation.....didn't give up. Hats off to the guy for that.

Hmm. I pointed out the same thing and was deemed a "troll." Beware.

The difference is...you blamed Jerry Jones for the injuries. That doesn't make sense no matter how you try to spin it.

Thornton wasnt a draft pick.

Beriault last had probs with his knee in HS and no issues in college.

Rogers is a wuss.

Peterman is back in action

Spears is back in action quickly.

Burnett will be back very quick.

Rogers reallly just makes me mad. i had high hopes for him. But i can see your point. Beriault, Peterman, and Thornton are real demonstrations of bad luck.

I thought picking Rogers was a stretch to begin with. I never thought he'd amount to much.

What blows me away is that the Cowboys are not the only team losing quality players to season/career ending knee injuries. The problem is league-wide. Some injuries are in other areas of the body, but if you just took away the knee problems, dozens of players a year would be on the field and not on ice, making the game a whole lot more interesting.

I bring this up because I can't understand why, with millions of dollars invested into some of the best athletes in the world, the NFL doesn't invest millions into creating a better knee pad. Better yet, something superior to the knee pad. Don't ask me what, I'm not an expert, but it would just seem to make sense to deal with the problem than to just throw another body in & put the damaged one into storage for a season/lifetime.

Excellent point. Why not develop a knee brace that prevents serious injury. It may slow players down, but if you make everyone wear one, it all equals out. It should be required, like a helmet.

Of course, there are some people I think would benefit by playing without a helmet!

When you take guys with history of injuries, that's just what happens.
