Anybody know if the NFL Channel will be running the Katrina telethon @ halftime? If not, I wouldn't rule them out of not carrying the ring ceremony.

I hope so or I'll be by my radio during halftime... They plan on covering it on KVIL.

well they covered the entire press conference so I'd hope they carry more than a lil bit for the ceremony.

Boy I'd love to be in charge of that ceremony. I'd invite everyone from those 90's dynasties, and fly 'em all down. I'd have a big line of players and coaches stretching down the field... Tony Tolbert, Deion Sanders, Jimmy Johnson, Darren Woodson, Nate Newton, Mark Stepnoski, Moose, Norv Turner, Jay Novacek, Charles Haley, Dave Campo, Ken Norton, Kevin Smith, Jim Jeffcoat, Leon Lett, Erik Williams, Ray Donaldson, even Larry Allen would be escorted out of the locker room to stand in uniform next to the retired players in their suits and ties...

Then I'd have Michael Irvin get up on the podium and do what made him such a leader on the field. I'd have him give the fans one of his chants from the heart, ending with something like "Greatest dynasty ever and you know it! No team ever could beat us in our prime!" And then he'd run down the line of former players and coaches high-fiving everyone as we all cheered our hearts out.... ~~sigh~~
