Anyone use it? Is it worthwhile spending the 100 bucks?

Have heard some people say they like it.

If you are getting it for netflix you might consider checking netflix because I think you can get it through your xbox or PS3 if you have one of those systems.

I have netflix through the PS3 now. Was wondering if there is anything else this thing does that the PS3 doesn't do.

Really don't know. Sorry.

However I do think someone was saying you can connect to HULU with it. There is a bunch of free shows and movies on Hulu and if you subscribe you can get some other movies.

I'm an Apple/Mac/iOS person all the way, but I got the Roku instead of AppleTV because I have the Amazon Prime membership where you get a ton of streaming movies/TV as part of the deal, and it doesn't work on AppleTV.

I love it, and we use it a ton, and I don't think we've scratched the surface of what it has to offer. Mostly Amazon, Netflix, HBO Go. Haven't done the Hulu plus thing yet, but we may check that out, too. We haven't bothered to hook it up to our wired network yet, either, because it works great even on Wifi.

Amazon has the top of the line one on sale for $79.99 from time to time--that's what I paid for mine.

How much is the Amazon prime membership and how does it compare to Netflix?

Amazon Prime is $79 for the year. The free streaming movies tend to be older titles, but they are adding to it all the time. The membership also includes free two day shipping on all purchases.

No kidding. Great prices, no sales tax and free 2 day shipping.

I just bought one, but haven't hooked it up yet! I have Amazon Prime! I had no idea that you could stream movies from there with it! Thanks for that info.

I bought Roku to stream Gaiam TV. Gaiam has over 700 workouts that can be accessed for $10 a month. I have a box full of workout DVDs because I like variety. Now I don't have to buy anymore!
