Archer's question to Garrett, "Rolando was doing rehab in pads today is that a sign that he's getting close to returning to practice?"

Garrett's Response : "Yeah, Rolando's done a great job, he's done a really good job with his conditioning. He works hard everyday, he's making progress. One of the things guys have to do is play with a football uniform on...I think anytime you get to that stage you're getting closer and closer to having a regular practice."

It's just to bad that McClain had some hippie lettuce with his steak dinner or he would have started the season!

And equally close to missing the next 3 practices following that return.

Sure hope so. I've been thinking he wouldn't even play this year. If he has to go on pup he won't play forever

Let him miss as much practice as he wants until he gets right. He will miss the first 4 games so he will have time to get right, and when he does get right, he is a monster to deal with!

Problem is he can't practice with the team as soon as regular season begins due to his suspension. I think he knew that too, but he'll be more prepared physically than last season. So long as he hasn't lost his killer instinct, he'll be an impact player again

He was out there with the team rehabbing at least, and watching what they are doing and how he can help...I hope! lol

If you talk about a kid? He is a kid...he even said so when he showed up. He's working with the team and I would bet that when he continues his rehab at a sport center...watch out, because he will show up just in time, along with that other fool that almost be his girlfriend to death...Hardy.

Hey...us FANS have been begging for some "dogs" on this team. Well, some are going to be showing up...in the meantime, hopefully the young pup can save the first four games.

Lol at the people talk about him not practicing! At least he had an actual procedure done. We have players that have hang nails right now that haven't practiced or played in weeks!

Agreed. As long as he stays engaged. I just need him to not get depressed while he's waiting these 4 games out. And in my mind that's Jerry's job.

If a guy doesn't practice because he doesn't feel like it I have an issue with that. Thats what all the rumblings and rumors were last year and still persist. He was an impact player for about 6 games last year and wasn't a factor after that. I would love for him to prove all the naysayers wrong, but until he does I'm not expecting anything from the guy.
