When McCarthy won his SB with Green Bay he used 77 players due to injury and various circumstances. In previous eras we would be doomed going to a primary backup of any sort. Just want to shout out guys like Ty Nsekhe, Terrell Basham, T. Steele, Gholston, Clement and others who’ve made impacts no matter how small.

This is the type of effort and depth needed to make a run. Let’s hope it works out for us.

This is an excellent point and it should get a lot of attention and discussion. The big contributions of backups and role players has been so impressive. And it continues to grow. It’s reminiscent of the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys teams.

And it looks as if more and more guys are stepping up and contributing.

Great point, OP. The Cowboys have been very top-heavy, talent wise, for so long… but this season, they’re legit 2-3 deep with quality players at nearly every position, especially on defense.

Like the broadcasters said during the game, the depth of talent allows everyone to always play 100% when they’re on the field.

Could definitely bode well for us!

And I guess Cooper Rush too lol he did win a game this year
Cooper Rush came in and played well too, he looked really accurate and sharp.

Absolutely the closest team I've seen to those 90s teams with the depth and speed...great observation.
