Got priced down tickets in Chicago.

Was incredible to see Rock and Roll Royalty in person.

Their show is incredible. I think the band is on fire, especially Mick Taylor.

I didn't know Mick Taylor was back with the band for this tour. Very cool!

He only played on a handful of tunes, but it was a highlight every time he came out.

Not to say the rest of the show sucked. Ronnie played well, and Mick is like an athlete. No idea how he stays so in shape.

I saw them in '82 on their "Farewell Tour" with ZZ Top and the Fabulous Thunderbirds in the Cotton Bowl. Jagger came out wearing an Eagles jersey and got booed.

He was smarter and brought out a Jagger Blackhawks jersey.

I am listening to the bootleg now, the band were killing it. Rock and Roll Royalty.

You sure you don't mean the "Tattoo You Tour", 10/31/81 & 11/1/81?

I was at the 11/1 concert. Never heard anything about an eagles jersey. If that happened Sat, you can see he clearly made-up for it for the Sun show.

Man, that was such a great day in Big D! Crisp, blue Fall sky, and 2 iconic bands in fine form.

Awesome vid. Awesome band.

I wasnt a huge Stones fan, but my dad kept on showing me videos and sending me tunes and it clicked. I am not young by any stretch of the imagination, but this band OWNED it..

So much great music, so many great bands in the mid to late 60's and 70's.

That is still almost all I listen to.

I saw them dec 15 last year in Newwark NJ - I was in the tongue pit for the show they aired on pay per view. There were people from all over the world standing in line with us - met folks from argentena and all over europe. At the time it didnt look like they were going to do a full tour so those tickets were tough to get. The show was fantastic.... but from the videos ive seen so for they are playing even better as the tour goes on this year.

Ive been following the tour on stonesnews.com and noticed they are getting more loose and also playing some different songs, leting mick taylor play a little more (he was at the pay per view show but only played midnight rambler). I think last year they played it safe a bit to see what they could do and now that things are rolling along they are really getting into it. The Chicago shows looked like the best so far to me. The videos i saw from the second show were great.

I'm going to see them in Philadelphia. Got the VIP tongue pit package which gives you early entrance. My goal is to be center stage and on the front rail in the pit. Im wondering how early I have to show up.

At the newark show a lot of people got in the door before me but they were wandering around getting drinks and using the bathroom so i was able to get a real good spot - had about 2 people between me and the front rail at center stage. I was about 5-6 feet from the stage. Got a few picks with my I phone.

Im planning on getting some more at this show, would like to put one on as my avatar or sig pic if someone can help me get the picture from my iphone to this site. Im sure its not that difficult but i dont know how to do that.

Welllll, maybe if you hillbillys would invest in "magic talking boxes" w/ printed circuit boards in'em, and chunk those ones w/ the "glowing miniature light bulbs" down the nearest holler, you'd be able to HEAR some new music!? :banjo:

Oh I hear it, .. most of it's not music.

(And, that's funny, did you make all of that up all by yourself?) :D

Very nice. I was in the 100 level of the United Center and it was incredible. The sound was amazing, which is a big concern for giant arena shows.

Oh and I met a guy from Uruguay that was sitting next to me. It looked like he had his mind blown.

I would go see them.... if I had won the lottery. Had a chance back in high school when they were on their Steel Wheels tour. I'm sure it was a lot cheaper to go then.

I remember what seemed like EVERYBODY wearing the retro concert tshirt's for the stones back then. Our local JCPenney has tons of them for sale.

It is worth it. If you want to go, keep checking ticketmaster. A ton of the higher priced tickets are being dropped, and Ive heard of people in the cheap seats getting put in the pit or the 100 level.

The UC was packed, but when you charge $650 a ticket people wont be buying. The dropped the prices a ton at the UC for Monday. We got prime 100 level seats for $400 less than they were initially asking. People want to go, they dont want to be gouged.
