Stones even though they have been on a steady decline since Sticky Fingers.

Two kinds of men, .. really?

I love'em both!!

I appreciate all of those that can create/write/make music, .. I like most all kinds, except rap, .. which I guess isn't music anyway.

Don't jump stiff-legged because I don't like rap, to each his own.

If you like it, that's great.

Most music historians would agree it is the beatles for their influence on rock and roll history.

But you wouldn't catch me driving down the road with "She loves me, yeah, yeah, yeah" blasting out the moonroof.......but you would hear "Sympathy for the Devil". Put me down for the Stones.

This is a tough tough call. If not for the Beatles latter work id probably have to go with Mick and Co. Abbey Road is still one of the greatest rock albums ever made but the intro to monkey man and can ya hear me knocking are hard to beat.
Beatles by a hair.

I remember being at my grandparents on a Sunday evening, playing around their apartment with my older brother and sister.

My grandfather goes over to turn on the TV, and says, "well, it's 8:00, time for Ed Sullivan."

We all stopped what we were doing and gathered around the TV to watch the Ed Sullivan Show. That night he introduced the "lads from Liverpool".

The world would never be the same.

I was in the 4th grade and very impressionable. I loved all of the early Beatle songs. Great time to be growing up and noticing girls, etc. Great songs to listen to while going through that time of my life.

I didn't hear about the Rolling Stones until later, when I was older.

Different experience, but I love'em both.

Neither. I disagree with those two types. I would be more a Black Sabbath guy.

Not my type of music either, but I definitely take the Beatles over the Rolling Stones.

Of course, I take 80s/90s Slayer over Black Sabbath. :D

Can't stand the Stones due to not liking Mick Jaggar.

Love the Beatles and have for over twenty years. Have nearly all of their CDs. Used to have all of them until I pawned them for silly reasons.:bang2: Now trying to "kiss and make up" over it. In trying to get all of their CDs back.

Stones everyday of the week. I will go out of my way to change the channel / station if the Beatles come on.

This thread is just another example of how diverse our tastes can be.

It's a good thing.
