It's happening today, in DC. I was there for it last year and wish I could be there this year. It is just awesome to witness. Estimates are that around 400,000 motorcyclists are participating this year.

Though I can not be there this year, I join them in their thoughts and intents: to honor those who gave all for this nation, including POWs and MIAs, on this Memorial Day weekend.

That would be something to see and participate in. It's tempting to buy another bike just to take part next year.

I like a stone's throw from downtown DC in Arlington, VA, and the roar of bikes (of all kinds - street, sport, cruisers, choppers) has been amazing this week and weekend. It makes me want to get another one so I can participate.

I'll be at Arlington National Cemetery tomorrow to watch the changing of the guard.
