I learned long time ago what people are getting paid and what their production is...does not always translate.

Most on that list are not worth it. The way things are set up in professional sports owners pay for past performances to players out of or about to exit their prime. The system needs some changes, but we have about 0 percent chance of that happening. Its scary to give a monster contract to anyone, especially in a salary cap league.

Good for him. He's played at a very high level every year since he became a starter. He's like the 5th highest rated QB in the history of the NFL, owns many of the teams passing records, and has played through injuries that would've sidelined many. He's earned his money IMO. Many of his teammates and contemporaries over the years on the other hand...not so much.

Where did they get these numbers? espn has another article saying he had a 11.8 mill cap hit in 2013. Is it possible to get 15 mill paid off the cap or is the cologne business making him a ton on the side?

Your cap hit is not equal to your salary.

another one under the impression that the 21 other starters are meaningless

His point being that that Romo is among the richest athletes in the world and the 21 others are not.
A QB is the leader of the team, thus he is charged with leading the team. Iffin he win he gets the glory; iffin he lose he get all the second guessing. The others are not the leaders nor are they paid commensurate with their contributions.
Again I am dizzy being this impressive with words. So I must go.

Are stafford's and Rodgers' numbers accurate. Hard to think they are.

I learned a long time ago you get what market value is for your services and you especially get it when you're one of 12 people on the planet who can do it well.

I remember the year Mickey got a 100K. I hate and love the FA the player's got. I hate it because players move around so much you lose something as a fan. I'm glad to see the players get the chance to share in the profits.
