Romo 2011 pro bowl snub

Looking back at the 2011 year, I have no idea how Romo didn't make the pro bowl.

It went to Michael Vick, Matt Ryan, and Drew Brees. Rodgers did not play.

Romo was 3rd in the NFC in QB rating by a good margin, especially over Matt Ryan (10 points) and almost 20 more than Vick.

He was 4th in TDs in the NFC, only QB with more touchdowns and less interceptions was Rodgers.

He was 5th in yards in the NFC and 3rd in completion percentage.

I wonder what this guy needs to do to get back in the pro bowl let alone try and win an MVP.

Co-sign. He accomplished all of that with broken ribs for a few games and a terrible offensive line. The guy is amazing and its too bad many fans dont see it.

You've got your years mixed up, no? 2010 season feeds in to 2011 Pro Bowl. Vick was phenomenal in 2010, not so much in 2011.

How did he not make it last year? 31 TD's 10 picks. Eli Manning has NEVER had a better year than the one Romo had last year. That's twice in my book Cam Newton got handed a Pro Bowl with much more inferior numbers. It's nothing but a popularity contest.

Undeserved reputation. Once you get it, it taints how your viewed.

IMO, Romo won't get back to the Pro Bowl unless the team is one of the best in the league no matter how good Romo plays.

The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest. Romo is one of the whipping boys of the NFL so it's pretty clear that he's not likely to make the Pro Bowl no matter how great he plays.
