Romo - 9 interceptions in the last two home games

I hope I am wrong, however, for the the time I wonder if we are seeing the trailing edge of Romo's game deteriorating -- possibly from age. All QBs go down hill in their 30's -- obviously that is a big range. In general, Romo just hasn't look very sharp this year.

I know he is only 32 years old and supposedly has a lot of tread on the tires, however, the throwing interceptions in bunches is a bad bad sign a guy who just might be starting the downside part of his career.

Not all Qb's go down hill in there 30's. But yea Romo is horrible right now.

I don't believe he's on the decline right now. I think there are a lot of factors in his bad season.

Having said that, I do believe that when he starts his decline due to age, it's not going to be a slow one. I think he'll drop off a cliff.

I think the pounding he got last year got to him in the offseason

AND since Jerruh clearly does not think he needs to rebuild the O line with quality parts Tony has that on his mind

But it's not normal Tony. Look at his career numbers per season...abnormal. I have confidence he'll get it together.

He hasn't really been benched yet, so apparently Jason Garrett (or Jerry, whoever you think has that authority) thinks it can.

Well, I think many of us were concerned about the OL coming into the season.

Concerns it was going to getting Romo hammered, and possibly injured, for the season. Concerns that without the running game, this team would have issues.

I do think hiring Callahan was a good move, but I don't think we've got the talent that he needs - yet. We've got to continue to build this OL.

I think we need an offensive coordinator who can match his game plan to the abilities of the players. Right now, all too often Dez and Ogletree can't read the defenses correctly and simply don't run the correct routes, so Romo has to just keep forcing the ball to Witten, because at least he knows where Witten is going to be. Roy Williams couldn't read the defenses correctly, either. Time after time Romo didn't know where he was going to go on a particular read. No such problems with T.O. and Terry Glenn.

We need smarter receivers or a different offense.

No, don't panic -- however, don't force Romo to have to put the team on his shoulders every game either.
