Romo #9 on top ten meltdowns..

Honestly, I get tired of people bringing up the Giants game, and the interception at the end. It was 4th and 11, with about 16 seconds left. We had no TO's left. They only had to rush 4 to generate a lot of pressure, because our OL was falling apart. So what do you do? You could try throwing to the sideline, but those are most likely covered, especially when you need 11 yards. You could throw short and hope you get enough for a first down, but then you risk running out of time. Going to the endzone is pretty much you're only choice. So they have 7 guys back to cover 3. Maybe Romo should have gone to someone other than Glenn, but seriously, how many options did he have.

Especially when, just one play earlier, he threw what should have been the game winning pass to Crayton, had he read the play correctly and kept going down the seam, instead of breaking off his route at the 4 yard line. And never mind the earlier pass to Crayton that he dropped, or the pass to TO at the 1 yard line that he dropped, or the TD pass to Fasano that he dropped...

Unfair to put that last play against the Giants as a "meltdown". It was basically a hail mary and he had to put it up for grabs.

Oh, I didnt know the QB had to be perfect to win a 60 minute ball game.

Simply awful, right?
They might be this weekend. Cincy leads the league in sacks, and our OL kind of stinks. Of course, many here will find a way to blame that on Romo...

I love Romo bashing threads. It helps me keep my ignore list up to date.

If Sillystring Doug Free continues to start, the future remains dark on that garbage line.

Excellent memory. Most have forgotten all the other miscues, and it all get blamed on Tony

yep, the defence allowing the Giants to score late in the first half, the Crayton drop, the Crayton slow down, the TE drop.

Hardly all on Romo.

Oh don't worry.. Romo will tear it up this December. :lmao2:

Well 22-27, 303 yards, 3 TDs, 0 ints, and perfect passer rating is a heckuva start.

Of course, those of you with constant selective memory will just throw that data out.

Last December and this December thus far (5 Games...4 not counting Philly last year):

94/132
71.2%
1172
8.78 YPA
11 TD
0 INT
126.1 QBR

Cut the bum.
