Romo and Dez practice Saturday

I had to check it out for myself. All this news of Dez and Romo suiting up but not actually practicing has been quite deflating throughout the week -- deflating like Romo's collapsed lung. ;)

Saw the breaking news on NFL network. Felix Tony and DEz all return to practice

Well played sir!:laugh1:

With Dex, I sure wish we had video showing how he practiced. He cannot be a hobbled decoy. If he can truly fire, we are going to kill the Commanders. Their house of cards is coming down on Monday night.

Any word on Witten? Has he been practicing all along?
No need to worry about Witten. Short of physically removing both of his legs and arms I doubt you'll be able to keep him out of games.

Tony and Dez are having a light practice, but they are there! Watch out Skins!

I read that Tony's dad and father-in-law are there too. I don't blame them. I would be a little worried about him and his injury if I was them.

Romo's practice is gonna be light or next to nothing, he can't do jack with that cracked rib until he gets that pain shot. I've had broken ribs and I guarantee he's doing next to nothing but that will all change after the pain shot. He just needs to be mentally sharp on the game plan until game time. That intense pain isn't going away anytime soon until he gets the injection, after that though he'll be just fine during the game...

I played Center with 2 broken ribs and NO pain shot (just aspirin). Man it hurt to breathe or to move but I made it through the game. I moved from QB to Center (it was semi-pro and I moved around a lot) so that I didn't have to raise my arm as much and I could snap the ball left-handed. Blocking was extremely painful and I nearly blacked out from pain a number of times. I also played DT on defense for that game so there was no rest for me.

You my friend are a helluva man, I don't know how you did it. I could barely move when I broke my ribs, just to sneeze took me to the floor. What you did was amazing, to handle that pain is unbelievable. Until you've been through it, people don't realize just how painful it is...

That is why I love football, it really allows you to discover a lot about yourself. I think every male child should be made to play football or some difficult organized activity.

You're so right!! I played football and organized sports most of youth life and it helped mold me into the man and person I am today. Especially football, from midget league to HS, to college. It taught me to be tough, indure pain and keep playing, take orders and follow instructions, work with others, push myself, and the bond and friendships that I developed with my teammates still stand today. It takes a special breed to play football, everybody can't handle that contact and the hard work it takes to get your body in shape to do it. When I read some of the comments on this board I can tell right away if that poster actually played or not...

Romo didn't get a pain shot @ SF, he took an oral pain killer only.

I've heard and read different opinions regarding this but I tend to believe he didn't take the injection either cause he was in intense pain. He can't do that again though in my opinion, I surely believe he takes the injection monday nite...

Possibly, but it shows that he could still throw without an injection so I can't see how it's preventing him from throwing in practice.
