Romo coming back and McFadden showing and earning his spot.

Just need to get to 3-6.

Yes in a perfect world it ends up looking very much like the Cowboys offense of mid last year that revolves around a power running game. I wouldn't bet in an offense with Romo, DMC, the OL, Dez in any game on their schedule.

My biggest concerns are (A) Can Romo stay healthy? (B) Can DMC hold up under the load? History tell us no, however, I believe DMC is supremely motivated this season.

I like the fact that he is motivated just to prove people wrong more than money. It is my understanding, we will have him for another year cheap after this one.

Garrett only played DMac when they finally tired of Randle's antics and had no choice.

More great evaluation from the genius

Well, McFadden couldn't stay healthy enough in preseason to win the job. Randle was the starter by default going into the season.

Cupcake training camp preserving most players for the season instead of practicing, how did that work out as far as injuries?

Very valid concerns. I agree.

DMC = on a mission... Nice power legs drive for extra 4-5 yards.

Randle wasn't healthy all preseason and rarely played either. Plus his entire offseason was full of more stupid off field actions.

So much for RKG..

Randle was much healthier than McFadden. I may be wrong but I am not even sure if McFadden logged a practice in Oxnard, if he did...it was not many.

While I agree... Maybe McFadden needed a slow work-in/earn it instead of just getting job.

With that said... Just a little more DMC earlier and more often.... Just a little and it could have made a better difference.

Red flag #1 = should have dumped randle during brief gate.

Unless Romo & McFadden can play on defense too...

I don't see a playoff game for the Cowboys.

All great posts.

I tend to agree with you...

Only thing is... With Romo and functional offense....

1. We will score more points
2. Defense won't be on field as much thereby reducing how many times they get exposed
3. Offense and defense will be invigorated with stable qb... As opposed to the "oh sheet" back ups

IF! If we can beat the Bucs, then I'll be saying, "All Aboard!"

Are we the worst conditioned team? looks like it.

Red puts it like we fight hard and never quit and claw but just get tired sometimes and can't line up properly. How that all jives together I don't know but I'm not a Princeton genius.

Even if they get to 3-6, they are going to need a ton of help.
