That pick was pretty bad. Physically, he looks like he's right, but late in the game, he seemed to be laboring even on handoffs. I hope he didn't re-injure his back. I don't get why he still makes mistakes like that interception today. The guy was there clear as day.

Romo was awesome today but I knew something bad was going to happen when I saw that play develop when he was picked off. I saw him stare at Dez all the way. Every time I see him do that, nothing usually good happens. Safety was able make that play because Romo did not look him off.

Romo said the exact same thing in his press conference.

He said he should've looked the safety off more because he knew he had Dez. I'm with you though, it was a bad throw in that situation.

Why did Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck throw 2 interceptions today? Why did Drew Brees throw 3 interceptions today? Every week dozens of interceptions are thrown (two of those guys are among the few who have been in the league longer than Romo) but only Romo is never allowed to throw any. The pick was just like any other you will see, a bad decision and a good play by the defense. It was unspectacular in every way.

Yeah. He also mentioned that normally, he would have spent more time looking off the safety, but because of the pass rush, his eyes went back to Dez much faster than normal and drew the safety over. It was a pretty interesting answer if you get a chance to watch his postgame presser. Shows just how much stuff a QB has to be thinking about all the time.

I know, right!?! QBs usually stop throwing interceptions by their 5th year in the league, at the latest!

Haha yeah I agree. I never understand how there are "let's discuss the INT(s)" threads after every game. They happen. I can understand a thread about Murray fumbling if it happens in 4 out of 5 games. Or if Romo throws 20+ INTs. But it's ridiculous when people make threads about things that are bound to happen regardless.

After Romo clowned Watt & got the TD to T-Will, it looked like he was limping a bit. Wonder if it took him a while to get right after that. The pick he threw, seemed to flutter a bit. Wasn't thrilled with the Delay of Game or Grounding penalty near the end of regulation but his Good, far outweighed his Bad today. Made the throws when we needed it. Ugly Win & I'll take it every time.

What do you mean ugly! OK it was ugly with too much drama. But ugly doesn't hurt!

Romo talked about the pick. He said he should have looked off Dez when he saw the corner take an inside release. Instead he stared him down waiting for Dez to cross his face and break inside, which drew the safety over for the interception.
You conveniently forgot to mention that Romo said pressure made it impossible to look off the safety. Knowing you it was an honest mistake.

Does a Romo Appreciation thread just HAVE to go back to his pick? How about we get back to talking about how sick that play was where he spun off the best defensive player in the league and threw a 40 yard TD pass?

Romo is doing what he's done ever since he took the starting job. He's playing well and being under appreciated. Not always great, but pretty darn good!

I noticed that limp right away. I was sure he tweeked his back again.

We haven't come close to playing a team like Seattle yet. Reality is, we've had about as easy a schedule as a team could ask for to this point.

Texans were 3-1 coming in. What qualifies as a team like Seattle? There is only one SB Champ.
