Oh I see, Grammer police at work. I thought so but decided it might not be, since your post didn't make sense. I decided to put some sense into it :p

Just foolin'. Normally, I wouldn't waste time policing grammar, but the irony of 'Cowboys fans, locally, are one of the most dumbest fans' was irresistible.

of course gac had the story that he was boo'd.

Yet not one person at the ticket said this. Bob sturm, corby, george, junior or gordon. Not one of them said this. And if it happened they would have.

Anyone who has ever listened to gac knows that them saying he was boo'd makes perfect sense. Ian fitzsimmons is a moron and mosely only knows to talk about negatives and galloway just jumps in and out of topics like he has ADD.

Yeah, I believe most of the ticket guys are U2 fans. I listen to GAC everyday around 5pm, thus I missed the comment. But I can guarantee you there was not a huge booing that occured when Bono mentioned Romo and Witten. I'm a pretty big Cowboys fan so I would have noticed it.

Concert was great. Cost U2 $2M to raise the tv screen 90ft to 115ft. There were alot of cowboys jerseys at the concert. Romo is a big U2 fan.

So Jerry got the board raised and got someone else to foot the bill? My main man Jerry. :laugh2:

2 Mil to raise that screen? Damn, what do they have to do to raise that thing?

There should be little motors on all four sides and maybe one or two more in the middle and all that is needed is to push a little switch and uip, up, up it goes!

"The boards are going higher to fit the stage for a U2 concert in October, but the screens will have to be disconnected. To lift the boards and keep them operable will require engineering and architectural adjustments."

So I'm guessing it's going back down to 90ft...

That thing weights what a couple of hundred tons I think it may take more than a small motor to get that bad boy raised and lowered.

Ok...then big MOTORs!! :laugh2:

All I'm saying is that it should have been automated in some way where all you have to do is hit a switch. Hell, they can buy a crane and hook it to the cieling up there somewhere that can hoist that damn thing up and down for less than 32 mil.

And, the company that made that monster should have made it moveable without having to unhook all the screens!

If they would have consulted me first...this would not be a money problem.

(the thing is, it probably cost about 100 grand to do the job, and JJ pockets the rest).

How much would you have charge Jerry for consulting fees?:laugh2:

I was there also and did not hear any boos at all.

I figured the only reason Bono mentioned Romo/Witten was to get a positive crowd reaction, similar to a "it's so great to be in Dallas" type thing bands always do.

It was a great show.

I hope it was just a small section of drunk fools then, because when I heard about it, made it seem like the whole stadium erupted in boos, while Tiger Woods got a standing O. Anyways, hopefully those who went, along with the Cowboys that were there, had a good time.

Speaking of Tiger, pretty awesome he was at VR today.

Well, since it hasn't been mentioned anywhere else other than on GAC and only by Ian Fitzsimmons and some people texting in about it, maybe minority of them were drunk and heard boos :D

Oh also I saw Moose Johnston walking through the Field Level area on the visitors side, he looked like he knew exactly where he was going must have had a cool suite or something that is accessed from there.

I just gave him a head nod of recognition and he pointed back at me pretty cool.
