It’s been reported that Tony Romo had hard weekend of partying in Chicago, but Jessica Simpson was nowhere to be found! As it turns out, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up! We don’t know what caused the split between the couple, but it looks like this break up is the real deal – and less than 6 months after their first date.

In Chicago, a friend said of Tony and Jessica’s relationship:

“They’re broken up. He told us they broke up and that was that. We’re guys so we didn’t talk about it much.”

After leaving the bar, the guys hit the Manor nightclub. While there, Tony and the crew were in the VIP section and coaxed girls to hang out with them. He was surrounded by girls, including one blonde in particular he spent a lot of time talking to. A source said, “He zeroed in on one blonde all night. That blonde wasn’t Jessica Simpson.” Jessica was spotted (below) in Los Angeles over the weekend — and by her facial expressions you can tell she doesn’t look the same.

Despite reports to the contrary, Jessica Simpson and quarterback Tony Romo are still together.

A rep for the singer told Access Hollywood, there is “no truth” to the rumors in Star magazine that the couple had gone their separate ways.

On Monday, the magazine reported Romo spent a wild weekend with his college buddies and the fun may have led to a split between the couple.

A pal of Tony’s told the magazine “they’re broken up.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Simpson and Romo began dating last year and Simpson even took the Dallas Cowboys star home for Thanksgiving.

These Boots are Made For Stalking broke the story after one of Tony's friends informed them the Dallas quarterback was all over the ladies. The Superficial received an e-mail from an anonymous source that jives with Tony's buddies' tales and offers some more dirt on his night out. Here's the exclusive details:

"Tony Romo was in town, and he was bar hopping with some buddies of his from Chicago. He had the nerve to put Jessica on speakerphone and talk about their sex life with all his guys listening and laughing at her. Not only is this girl dumb, but she is completely self conscious about her bedroom skills. After a few too many drinks, he told everyone he and Jessica are over. They are taking a "break." We have no idea if this is true or not, but reports say that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up. We wonder if the quarterback's singing had anything to do with it.
