He would need about 375 each of the next two games. Not a given at all but with both games potentially high scoring it is a possibility.

He'll have a big game(320-350 yds) vs New Orleans but i dont think he'll get the yardage needed @ Washington. I think that will be more of a ball control game. still anytime you throw for 4500+ yards at nearly 67%, thats a heck of a season for a QB. It's too bad he had those two stinkers vs Chicago and NYG which skewed his numbers.

Only if Miles Austin can catch the ball.

hillarious.

I am pretty sure his 62 catches and 900 yards says he can.

If we are throwing the ball that much then it means that we are probably really far behind in these games and trying to catch up. So I personally hope he does not break 5k yards.

Not necessarily. The Pitt game was skewed towards passing even with Murray in there and it being a pretty even game.

Face it Garrett would rather throw the ball regardless.

I'm only trolling the Austin fan, relax people.

So mature. A bulk of my Austin posts came during the 2010 season you were not even around. Way to make an inside joke when your not an insider. Mark.

That is probably true considering this
Fewest games to 25,000 yrds

Dan Marino 92
Tony Romo 93
Peyton Manning 97
Kurt Warner 97
Trent Green 102
Drew Bledsoe 102
Drew Brees 103
Philip Rivers 104

The bulk of your anti Dez posts have come the last 2 years though.

I've seen plenty. No need to get angry here. One love.

Romo would have been the fastest to 25,000 yards if not for the broken collarbone in 2010.

I think it would be awesome for Romo to hit 5000 yards. It would be a very nice feather in the cap for Romo's career.

The 5000 yard mark may be slightly diminished now that players like Stafford are hitting it, however, until they go to 18 games, its still an "eye popping" stat to me.

I think they only count in games played. Missing games to injury or not playing at all is not counted. If Romo had played in every game since he came into the league in 2003, that would be 158 total games. He has 91 career starts and 2 back up appearances at the QB position.
