HE'S NEVER THROWN A PASS IN AN NFL GAME!:bang2:

Now that that's been put to bed, I say we should give him the benefit of the doubt until.....HE THROWS HIS FIRST INCOMPLETION!:laugh2: or perhaps until he starts a drive that doesn't end in a TD!:laugh2:

All kidding aside, I'm more on the Romowagon after todays game. And it has little to do with his very nice debut and everything to do with Bledsoe's performance.

Like most longtime Cowboy fans I to believe in franchise QBs and that most have a pedigree. I don't want to settle for anything less. Like a QB with an average to below average arm. Short-comings of this type may not allow him to excell at the highest level. THIS IS WHAT WE ALL WANT. IT'S ALL WE'RE CONCERNED WITH. SUBERBOWL OR BUST!

I don't believe Romo has a weak arm. I do believe that all of his positives far outweigh what may be just an average arm.

But here's the real reason I think ROMO should start.

Bledsoe's done, cooked, over, finished. Five games is all I need. He has displayed very little confidence. His arm looks weak! He's making far to many bad decisions and even more poor throws. He'snot making the plays. HE IS NOT THE SAME PLAYER HE WAS EVEN LAST YEAR. He's not good enough to accomplish our goals. He is no longer good enough for us.
Nothing personal, I like him, he's a good guy. So are alot of guys here, that doesn't mean I want any of you starting next week.

I have a feeling that Parcells and the rest of the staff see this as well.

I'm going to go out on a ledge and predict that ROMO STARTS NEXT WEEK.

No way after 2 passes. It is great we were in the position to give him some playing time.

For good or for bad .. you're fooling yourself. Bledsoe isn't going anywhere. PERHAPS I might buy it if Bledsoe had blown the game and Romo was playing because we were so far behind.

You are a daring fellow and you might be right, but nothing in Parcells' behavior has made that seem likely. At his press conference after the game today he said he would put Romo in any time he was 27 points ahead (or something to that effect)

Romo may wind up starting before the season is up. I just can't see that happening next week...if Bledsoe stinks it up again like he did vs some other teams next week...Romo might start the week after next.

I was just as excited as anyone else to see Romo finally throw a pass and have success. But let's face it, that first pass was terribly underthrown and Hurd made a nice adjustment and catch. Supposedly, the TD was a busted play that Romo made into a good play. It was nice to see his mobility on that play, but the jury is still out. How well would he play for four quarters against top competition? I guess there's only one way to find out. I'm just worried that the answer might not make us very happy. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't think the TO TD was a busted play looked designed to me. Personally I think Romo underthrew the ball on purpose. If you notice there was a second guy deeper and if Romo had thrown deep it would of been a INT.

let's also not forget this was the texans D that he was playing against. I was impressed that he did what he did, but let's temper the enthusiam just a tad bit considering the oponent.

Not to sound like a jerk but....Have you guys been following the same team, watching the same QB.

He has been Terrible. He can not be allowed to start one more game.

Bill Parcells has all my confidence. I know he will do what's right. Romo may not start next week, that's just my guess. But I am convinced he starts soon.

I'm one of the few here who've been against Bledsoe as the Dallas QB from the very beginning, but you really can't judge him based on this game. It rained in the first half and Bledsoe is poor in inclement weather.

I started him on a couple of my fantasy teams (gotcha bungarian) so even I thought he'd have a decent game. He did. His best game of the year and still made several awful mistakes. He could have had TDs to both Witten and Glenn with even adequate throws.

Pressure from the Texans was almost non-existent and this is the best he could do? Time to see more of Romo.

I've been watching the game and I don't think Bledsoe's play has been acceptable by any means. But for those who think Romo is going to step in with his "moxie" and lead us the playoffs, it's unreastic. Sure, he's elusive - but that pass to Hurd will be intercepted 9/10 once teams game plan for him. He still has alot to learn about the speed and complexity of the game. This was the Texans D for crying out loud. Against a real Defense with a week to prepare, I'm not sure it would look so positive.

And don't think I'm knocking Romo, what he did today was a BIG step forward. I just don't think it's time to turn it over yet.

Say what you want, but one thing you can't say is that Bledsoe's arm has looked weak.

I have backed Bledsoe since his week one performance in S.D. He was money that day and that was a big win.

If any of you doubt we should bench Bledsoe, compare his play of the first five weeks of 2005 before Adams went down to his first five weeks this year.

It's like comparing two different players. We were winning games because of him, now we win inspite of him.

This most stop, he must not be allowed to start one more game.

Parcells would laugh at any one calling for romo to start after two throws, TD or not. As he should.

Dude, which Bledsoe you talkin about. Is it the one who's been throwing weak fluttering passes for Dallas this year. HIS ARM LOOKS VERY WEAK!

I agree, his arm hasn't been the same since the first few drives of the Jacksonville game.

maybe in the minny pre-season game he not only hurt his head but his sholder? and just reagravated it in the jacksonville game and hasn't told any one due to fear for a pats/bills repeat?
