i can't believe we still have 21 page arguments about this 4 years later.
Romo was at a place where the last two big shots that he took put him out of the game for extended periods of time. His back was crumbling. It was simply time, and that's all. No, Dak wasn't a better QB, Dak didn't beat him out, there was no great conspiracy against Romo, any of that garbage. It was simply time for Romo to retire.
Wow dude...you act like you are the final authority of everything.
You didn't even bother to read all the comments here. Are you going to deny that Romo always came in too soon...not fully healed? You KNOW that is not true. Any QB that played with shoulder injury .....is proof you would be WRONG.
Dak did allow Tony to FINALLY fully heal during a season. His last drive....you'll claim defense wasn't playing, anyone could do that. But that was laser efficiency. NO WAY...just any QB could bop in and drive the team down for an easy TD. No ....way.
Everyone wonder why we drafted Zeke. He was the final piece of the romo puzzle. Elite tough RB pass catch AND block. The team was SO stacked you could put a low round drfat pick rookie in and win.
What could we have done with a healthy veteran...built FOR the healthy veteran?
Look...you HAD me at your first sentence. What ARE we doing here four years later. You should have quit there. Then you go on to show us EXACTLY why. People making up bull sheet in their heads is why.
