Romo, Cowboys MUCH better on the road!

It's almost unthinkable. It's also true.

Since Romo has taken the reigns the Cowboys have a higher winning percentage when playing on the road.

Stranger still: It isn't close. They are dominant on the road and merely .500 at home.

This is beyond bizarre.

Home record: 4-4
Road record: 7-1

To give you a comparison. In the decade before Romo's arrival we lost almost 3 out of every four roadies.

I'd love to hear your theories.

So we only have a 50-50 chance of winning NFC title game if we get HFA

but if its on the road we have almost a 87.5% of winning....

Good digging, oldschool. Interesting stats.

Three of those four home losses came during last season's December collapse to the Saints, Eagles, and Lions. And of course, the fourth home loss being last week's game to a very good Pats team.

Other than the wacky loss to the Commanders last year, Romo would be be undefeated in his first 8 road starts.

Those numbers should even out as the year goes on.

So we only got a 50% chance of beating the Vikes, but 85% chance of beating the Eagles and the Giants. Glad to know I don't have to worry about those road games & assume a win over the Vikes also guaranteed since we lost to NE at home. Won't speculate about any game beyond Giants.

I've heard some players say they play better on the road because the are far less distractions -ie: ticket requests, visiting family etc.
