As Cowboys Fan, I'm sure we will all take the W and focus on the next game. But I hope no one feels the need to give Romo too much credit because he has a long way to go. One game at a time right now and yes he had a good game but 1-0 is just what it is, 1-0.

Let's just hope he can be consistent and have performances like that more frequently. So I'm asking everyone don't pay attention to 353 yds, 3 TD's, pay more attention to 1-0 and no interceptions.

ROMO is the best qb in the NFL.........he had a slow day,,however, he keep focused......did not turn the ball ov er........great 1st game.

whatever....I'll give him credit and you'll have to deal with it

Bull.

Nobody is "paid" for 353 yards, 3 TDs, and a 140.6 QB rating. A contract like that would put that of Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, and Drew Brees to shame.

Romo went above and beyond "what he is paid to do" today. If you don't want to give him "too much credit" for the W today, that's on you.

I'll give him a ton of credit... he was outstanding.

I'm no statistician, but I imagine the 353/3tds probably correlate somehow to the 1-0.

See you are getting to pumped up over one game. Just relax and accept the W and ignore his stats.

I'm happy we won and more concerned with his performance against the NFC east rivals giants next week. I just don't want everyone to get too excited just take it one day at a time.

Hmmm...Romo missed on those long TD plays....he gets the blame.

He sees it and hits it and deserves little to no credit...ok....gotcha.

I'll also thank the o-line for protecting him and the WR for running it in.

But I'll give Romo 100% credit for doing his job as well....he deserves the credit....they all do.

Sorry, 140 QB rating is nothing short of extraodrinary. That's not "all in a day's work".

I feel bad for Cowboy fans. One day they'll be begging and pleading for another Tony Romo.

I just looked at his career stats for only 2.5 yrs as a starter.......your right......he holds alot of team records.

Although some of our fans arent the sharpest tools in the shed, so maybe I shouldn't expect anything less than utter stupidity. Do you know we have a regular poster who believes Bradie Quinn will be a better NFL QB than Romo? I swear, I'm not making this up. You can't make this stuff up.

God forbid fans get all excited when their team wins. Best to moderate that if you can. But you're worried about the wrong thing if you're worried that Romo's play today bodes ill for the Giants next week.

This is a big season for Romo and he has a long way to go. With today's performance he got off to a great start and is headed in the right direction and I'm glad for the win.

I'm just saying don't get too wrapped up in his stats and focus more on the no interceptions and the win.

Great idea,,, soon I will submit a whole list of thoughts and feelings for you guys to follow. You won't like it at first, but soon you'll see that my way is best and everyone will be happier,,, or at least I will,,, :p:

Yeah, let's all NOT be excited about winning.

I know most people are still hurting over last year, but c'mon, it's a new year. Enjoy the wins while they come...you might be yearning for them later on.
