Why didn't he get the offense together and clock the ball? Did they do exactly as they intended?

I do not recall Romo EVER escaping blame, even when it was not his fault there have, and always will be, some that blame him.

Garrett's is getting all the clock mismanagement criticism.

And you are blaming Romo in a thread asking why Romo escapes the blame

Such irony

Wasn't Romo attempting to get the team back in formation to spike it?

Romo had a very good, very clutch game. He doesn't deserve blame on this one.

He sure was lackadaisical about it.

Maybe if Dez would have moved his arse instead of holding on to the football while Romo was trying to do it? I just think the whole team seemed lost and that falls on Garrett IMHO.

You have to remember a lot of people here don't have a clue about football. They expect Romo to pick the ENTIRE team up and place them in their spots so he can spike it.

In some fan's eyes he deserves to be blamed for everything.

maybe all the offensive players were lacksadaisy about it? Romo was clearly trying to get the next play called

I also was wondering why Romo didnt have his offense ready.
Can't tell if serious or just oblivious...

No he wasn't. He was screaming at them.

ahhh don't bother, his history here on the forum has always been 'blame romo'

not like Romo don't have his issues, but come on the guy tried to get this offense set but players like Dez was wasting time arguing a moot point.

Don't worry the media will blame the loss on Romo and his lack of leadership. I'm sure of it. In fact, they'll make a point that Eli would have won and Romo is a not a real leader.

Dez was busy looking for a flag.

He was rightly looking to get credit for forward progress. The ref crew was unbelievably atrocious.

Why didn't Dan Bailey make the field goal...it was right there for the win.
