he scrambled at right time almost every play he felt the pressure. its like he has eyes behind his helmet.

he slips out of sacks better than most qbs.

what does he need to work on this year? really deep ball? thats the only thing i can see that he needs to work on.

Evolution and adaptation at its finest. He learned to adapt and deal with a shoddy OL. He learns from his mistakes and pushes on. That's why he is one of the best NFL QB's in the league. Easily top 5

He has nothing to work on really. He's very accurate throwing short, middle, and long, he has great pocket presence, as you said he is great at avoiding sacks, he has a solid arm not great, but solid. He's one of the best quarterbacks in the world without question.

he will always be working on decision-making. the pick he threw last week was all his fault. he can overcome those mistakes when they don't happen often, but I know he will tell you that was stupid.

He needs to continue to work on everything. You are never "done" at a certain area of one's game.

He doesn't need to work on anything hes one of the best quarterbacks in the world!

No it wasn't. He couldn't even see the damn field because of horrible blocking. That goes on the offensive line. They were awful in that 1st half, but thankfully they played much better in the 2nd half.

seriously? If that is the case (can't see the field), then you don't throw the ball!!! A sack is better than a pick any day of the week. unless, of course, it is 4th down and the last play of the game for you.

What if he fumbles it after getting sacked then what? We needed to get a first down and Romo had to make a play. He threw a pick, but make no mistake about it it was not his fault.

Work on the deep ball? What's wrong with his deep ball? He just has to continue to be efficient and take care of the football.

If Romo can't see the receivers and is under pressure, it is best to just throw it out of bounds near our receivers, much better than INT.

There will be no real deep ball if he doesn't have time and receivers to get down the field.

If he would've thrown that ball out of bounds it would've been a penalty.

Wouldn't you agree that taking a penalty is much better than INT?

Just like T. Smith taking penalty to stop TD return after INT.

He'd love to have that one back.
If can only have 11-12 picks all year he will have an outstanding season. You know if he stays healthy he's going for 35+ TDs.

I think that is a work-in-progress for all QBs with the desire to improve.
That stuff never goes away completely....not by any QB that ever has played the game.

The key is to keep it to a minimum without completely rolling up ina shell and not at least taking some risks to give your playmakers a chance to make plays.

When the line protection is such that it compromises Romo's vision, or ability to deliver a strike, the risk of him throwing a pick increases. He KNOWS that. And he appropriately gets some blame in that.

But you don't become great without risking failure.

And greatness isn't defined by never making a mistake.

Some of this "Romo made a mistake and needs to stop that" nonsense is just over the top. No one WANTS to make a mistake, but its been and continues to be a hypersensitive topic.

I agree. All players will make mistakes and will continue to make mistakes, we all do, just have to learn to minimize the mistakes, especially in crucial moments of the game.
