that could have happened. Lets face it, if Romo stays then we probably get nothing but the Garrett special. Another 8-8 season. And a middle of the pack draft pick while just missing the playoffs. And even if we had made the playoffs we get booted quick. And Jerry Jones continues with his "romo is good for another 5 years and we refuse to draft a young QB" mantra.
Maybe this way he will wake up and draft the next air apparent to Romo. This was the ONLY way he might wake up. And no we will certainly have a top 5 pick with a shot to draft that guy.
