That is huge for a 2nd game especially against a defense who is throwing the book at you. He is definately the bright spot for this team.

Just think of how much better it could have been had T.O. not dropped that TD.

if that would have been a 80 yarder (I think that is about what it would have been), then he would have been 25 of 36 for 364 yards and a QB rating of 129.9 or a 130!

Good point! That catch is the difference between a really solid game and a great game. The thing that is frustrating is that Romo couldn't have thrown it any better.

The biggest problem never was QB.

That said, I'm happy with Romo.

I'm not surprised his rating is over 100. It just went a waste in a big division game. I hope he isn't discouraged by this, being so young and inexperienced and all. I hope he keeps that big heart of his. It should be contagious, but I guess not - at least not today anyway.

The good thing is Romo is getting his feet wet against big-time competition ON THE ROAD and he is excelling out there. His decision-making was a thing of beauty today.

Bledsoe was bad, but I agree with Rack.

If it was only QB, we would have easily won the game today because Romo was awesome. And if Bledsoe was awesome today (yes, a rarity), we still would have lost.

Our defense is overrated. They always seem to get no pressure, tend to bite on these stupid trick and misdirection plays. Also, Zimmer can't hide a blitz if his life depended upon it.

He was pretty bad. There are a lot of things about this team that do not impress me specially the defense. Not nearly as good as they should or could be. However, as long as Bledsoe was the QB the rest did not matter in my opinion.

I agree, Mansta. Romo made some plays today that would've ended in sacks or 4th downs with Bledsoe at center. 3rd and 19 comes to mind. He found Crayton on that play while Bledsoe would've been patting the ball while waiting to get sacked. Maybe that's a little harsh, but Bledsoe just doesn't have it anymore. He's a good man who had a long decorated career, but let's pray that Romo stays healthy and continues to perform the way he did today.

You would think a QB in his second start will only get better, and that would be pretty scary. Greg Williams threw the kitchen sink at him today and he was never fazed. I loved his command of the offense and his pre-snap reads.

Williams not being able to rattle Romo says alot to me. I think you will see less and less teams blitzing Romo over the few weeks. If he can keep doing what he did today, he will stop seeing the blitz every week. Look at Brady, how often does he get blitzed?

How can I agree wholeheartedly with you in one thread and totally disagree in another? Baffling. :)

Romo was a rock today. Bravo.

That said, QB was one of the bigger problems on the team up until the 2nd half of the Gnats game. After halftime of that game the QB position became a much smaller issue. Actually, while we're on the topic, the QB position has been an issue since pre-season. Romo should have started the season. Enough woulda coulda shoulda.. We would probably be here all night debating this.

Not to mention he was in enemy territory. He has had two straight very good games in enemy territory.

It would be one thing if he were doing this in the comfort of Texas Stadium, but he is not. After only two games he certainly looks like the real deal.

If Bledsoe played today WA wins 27 or 35-10. Pretty much a repeat of last year. Bledsoe goes into that hostile environment and self destructs as per usual.
As it was today, it took some freak plays and a bunch of mistakes by Dallas for WA to squeak out a win at home.
