...and Manning might still have something to say before the end of the season. It's not guaranteed that Romo is the second best QB in the game.

Where do you live and what have you been:

Not guaranteed??

Is there anyone who even thinks that?

...do you think the originator of this thread using "would be" to declare Romo as the MVP is not a guarantee.

I believe his declaration is that Brady is the best QB in the league with Romo being the second best. There is no mention of the remaining season and all the changing variables associated with it.

Hence the reason for my response.

You can make your best interpretation of this thread.

look at his stats dude, even with his bad day, he is right behind brady on almost everything, save TDs. and i thought MVP was a season thing, not one game...

Save TDs? Oh, since its just passing TDs, yeah, they are roughly identical.

So who do you like for rushing leader? Peterson or Benson? They are the same except for the rushing yards.

Someone brought up Derek Anderson, and I must say it's amazing how lowly this kid is flying under the radar.

He has started 6 games, and is 4-2 as a starter. Here are his numbers in these 6 starts...

58.6% completion rate
16 TDs
7 INTs
8.6 yards per attempt
100.1 QB rating

The only things Romo has on him are completion rate and W/L record... everything else is advantage: Anderson. Numbers-wise, at least.

He has been playing as well as any QB not named Brady... he has the Browns at 4-3, and is single-handedly killing our draft pick for '08.

If he keeps winning, he'll eventually get the recognition he's been earning... how shocking would it be to see him as the 3rd QB in the Pro Bowl behind Brady and Manning?

romo would be MVP on his first full year as a starter.

If Moss went to Cowboys at the very least Brady wouldnt be AS successful. Romo would have a few more TD's also.

Moss CLEARLY changes that whole offense. Makes Stallworth look better than he is and open up alot underneath for Welker.
