Romo Injury: Kyle Orton?

With Romo inured and out probably 8 weeks
Would we want to call Orton out of retirement to come and play?
He could probably hold down the fort better than weeden can.
Is he a free agent, or still under contract with the bills?
I think that could be the only hold up if we wanted him.

I'd get on the phone with Washington, but I'm sure there are cap ramifications that would impact that.

Bring up the kid off the practice squad that played for Detroit... The Boise State kid. He doesn't have a strong arm but from all accounts he's bright and accurate and is familiar with this type of offensive.

No, it's not going to be able to beat someone 37-10, but 14-10 or 17-14? Yeah, I think they can get a few of those before Romo & Dez get back.

Not just Dez and Romo...the Cowboys defense have some dogs that want to come eat too.

We will have to see what the team is without their QB. Weeden won the game.
