This is evident when you see him struggle early on in games, but once he strings together a few good passes, its like automatic for the rest of the game.

He gets into a mode that only "gamers" get into. Its also called "The Zone". All the great ones have this quality.

Just something i have noticed about him since he took over the starting job.

I agree with this zone thing he gets in, but if I'm being honest, I think he and the receivers were not on the same page in the 1st half, but I guess they got it together and started hitting. I did hear something on the radio broadcast about Romo and Garrett not having communication for a large part (technical issues) in the 1st half.

Romo has all the "intangibles" that are required in a QB and is probably the best deep passer in the game today. The more experience he gets the better he will be with his timing and decision making. He has a very quick release and makes his reads very quickly.

Tony is beginning to earn the reputation as an established slow starter.

Career 1st Quarter QB Rating - 70.1
Career 2nd Quarter QB Rating - 158.3
Career 3rd Quarter QB Rating - 149.3
Career 4th Quarter QB Rating - 116.7

I think its one of the last things he still needs to work on. It would be nice to start getting on top of teams early.

I've heard of this "zone" thing before. Remember reading an article back in the 90's (can't believe it was that long ago) when they were discussing QB play. Specifically mentioned Aikman getting into the "zone" on almost every Sunday & how consistently he was on the mark. For many years, until his OL went totally downhill, he was considered the most accurate NFL passer in history, 2nd only to Bart Starr.
