Romo had the quietest 300 yard game I can recall. He is 13-1 in November, including 13 in a row. The interception made me go "Oh no, here we go again." But there was nothing to worry about. #9 is so smooth that I'm always impressed to see his numbers after each game, although I watch every snap. Does anyone happen to know his QB rating last night?

I'm glad he's ours.

agreed, he wasn't flashy, but in the end he got it done. his interception was whatever... basically a short punt to the 35. he didn't fumble once and he constantly protected the ball. there wasn't even those dumb plays where the defender drops the easy pick 6. he played solid and ive been very impressed with him :) i was down on romo this season and he proved me wrong so far... bring on the pack!!

I agree wholeheartedly. I could never understand why any Cowboys fan would want somebody else at QB (especially considering all of his accomplishments/records since 2006).

Aurprisingly his rating last night was only 88.7. I guess that is because hist TD% is identical to his int % (2.9%). The Yds per att was 9.0 and completion percentage was 61.8.

He made some very very good decisions. I was surprised.

Props to Romo on dealing 300+ to a good defense.

This will sound really stupid but, I was glad to see him take the sacks last night.

Some of his best plays.

No no -- not stupid at all -- I was thinking the same thing during the game. Great observation!

Thanks for the numbers. 88.7 is low (for Romo), but I'm satisfied with his performance. Once again, he spreaded the ball around. I can think of at 6 different receivers who caught the ball. I'm probably forgetting someone, but the weapons on this team are unbelievable. I mean Ogletree off the bench? And Crayton ypc must be pretty darn high. Watch out, NFL. The Boyz are on a tear.

His int was a back shoulder pass to Witten that they do all the time - problem was that Witten had not turned around for the ball and did not expect it. Not saying it was a great decision but that is what it was. I think that if Witten had turned around he could have been very close to spinning around to make that catch.

That's sort of the same impression I got. They're always on the same page and on that play, they didn't seem to be.

He's definitely protecting the ball better. Philly has always been one of those teams that makes us pay when he throws up prayers in the face of pressure, and he wasn't doing that. Clearly he's learned that taking the sack and playing the field position game is the way to go sometimes.

Ain't nothin' "deceptive" about it, ma'am. He's just plain good. :)

I thought that at first, too, but then when they showed it from the end zone angle it looked like Romo just overthrew it badly.

I was very upset at the int.. but I guess we can't expect perfection. Overall very good night for Romo. Very quiet 300 yard game. Anybody who doesn't see the growth and maturity in Romo is blind. One of his best performances given the circumstances and the environment.

I was very happy with Romo. As for the int he is going to have them all QB's do if people bother to watch the others games even the immortal Drew Bress has thrown them and has more than Romo. Romo went out played a damn fine game aginst a quality team on their turf.

I see the bandwagon is starting to fill up again. I hope everyone does not jump of at the first sign of trouble.

The doubters need to stay off it. If you’re not willing to hang with a guy during bad times don't bother weaseling in during the good times. :laugh2:

I never got off of it in the first place. In Romo I trust. At some point, the haters will just have to admit that we have a good one at QB. And "the first sign of trouble" is no reason to lose faith. Every team has obstacles. Cowboys fans are so fickle at times.

Great game from Romo and company. I was shocked he didn't see his boy Witten in the back of the endzone when he was scrambling around, he's usually money after avoiding sacks like that. Can't complain though.

Adam_Schefter: All those Tony Romo bashers should note that on third downs last night - only third downs - Romo compiled a passer rating of 149.1.
