I hope Crayton goes back to keeping his mouth shut and having hands of glue. Yesterday was uncharacteristic and came at the worst possible time.

Hopefully he will learn to show class before, during , and after games.

He should be the media's whipping boy after yesterday, but unfortunately, a loss always seems to be the QB's shoulders alone.

Tony Romo is not gonna get us to the promise land. Look, we had it all lined up this year with homefield advantage and an above average team and we chocked on the bone at home. I saw some things in the game and during the season that has begun to raise questions in my mind about Tony getting us to the "show".

Look, let's be honest. Look at his short history in Dallas. He has QB'ed the team to about 23 wins but he has MAJOR holes in his game. He ad-libs a bit too much and at the wrong times. Bill Parcells knew this and always tried to reign him in. His descisions under pressure yesterday and during the Philly and last Commander game He also has shown problems in big games.

I wont come off this till he shows he can produce when it really counts. What a waste of a season this was. It was all set up.

:bang2:
This has been said about every new quarterback....
3 or 4 plays going our way and you'd be singing his praises (Crayton catching the ball, Crayton running his route the whole way, no intentional grounding, tackling Toomer, etc.)
Do you think the Steelers fans are crucifying Rothslinburger for his last two seasons? Give the kid a break!! He got us to the #1 seed!

Those snaps were awful. I talked about it earlier in the season and sure enough they came back to bite us. It seems like Gurode got worse during his injury time off. This has to be corrected next season.

Are there any good centers in FA? Move Dre to RG and get another center in here.

so does this mean you'll be a minute by minute chicken little and 90% of the forum should go ahead and ignore your constant whining?

also - if it were so all setup as pretty as you please, didn't romo have a hand in that?

i swear to god some people just get off on redefining stupidity.

They said the same thing about Roger Staubach in the early 70s.

Agreed, and does anyone remember a guy that is still playing that had a hard time early on with ad libbing, if that is a word, named Brett Favre? He seems to have done ok. Incredible how he is the only QB in the league with less than 2 years of game experience to NOT get the benefit of the doubt when he loses a game. Never mind the drops that would have won the game? They didn't happen. Had Crayton not stopped on that rout on the last drive and it had resulted in a TD would you be saying the same thing? How about if Fasano makes the catch in the end zone? How about if Crayton catches the other pass he whiffed on and is still running? I doubt it.

While it natural to have doubts.... this guy has gone to the playoffs in his first 2 years. Lost one game by 1pt and the other by 4pts.

Peyton got BLOWN out in a couple of his first playoff losses. Threw INT's all over the place.

Crayton stops running on 2nd to last pass of game that was GW TD.

This must be a joke, right?

Winning a Superbowl aint easy!

Teams mature and lose several years in a row before winning the big game.

Look at the Colts last year for one example.

It is way too early to try and make that assessment. The Cowboys have spent way too much time and money to finally find a QB who is consistent and can win games for you, albeit the Regular Season.

I have made my assessment and I will stick too it. Tony is an above average QB. He will NEVER be a superstar QB like Elway, Manning, Aikman, Brady or Montana untill he PROVES he can handle and produce in the clutch.

All the above QB's had guys drop balls and teams make mistakes but you always got the feeling that these guys delivered in the Clutch.

Tony had three chances to drive us to a game winning TD and he ,as the QB, did not get us there. Now it may not be fair but truth is truth. Elway got a bum rap before he won the show and he was getting that rap while winning clutch come from behind games.

I just don't see Tony be a clutch performer yet and that's what I want from my QB. I want a guy who can get the ball with 3:00 minutes to play who can get his team in position to win the game more often then not.

QB's in the NFL are judged by winning the BIG games not just stacking up regular wins. I'll take an Elway and Montana anyday over a Marino or a Moon.

And I'm NOT a "troll" because I have a different opinion about my team. A team I have been a fan of for the last 25 years.

Romo didn't play in the Dallas secondary on that Giants' scoring drive with 47 seconds remaining in the first half.... :bang2:

The Dallas Secondary does not play QB and there were not on the field when we needed a drive to win this game. It's a reason why the QB is the highest paid player on the team. He has got to RISE to the occassion.

Shutup with your anti-Romo agenda.

You've had like 30 posts after this game saying the same thing.

This is complete BULL, without Tony Romo, we never get here. Look at the many close games he pulled us out of, how many errors his teammates had during the season and he still pulled them through. Such fair weather fans..
